Times Radio Interview: Sharon Williams of Kirkland Trails

This week's Times Radio featured an interview with President of Kirkland Trails Sharon Williams.

"Kirkland Trails seeks to develop a network of connected multi-use trails, paths, and bike lanes in the Town of Kirkland, NY, to provide our community and the greater Mohawk Valley with safe routes for recreation and transportation and the opportunity to learn about local history and the natural environment," according to the organization's website.

Williams spoke with us more about Kirkland Trails.

She also talked about all the work that is involved with getting Kirkland Trails ready.

The next stages of developing Kirkland Trails will cost money. Kirkland Trials has a dedicated board doing maintenance on the trails; however, monetary donations will help with expenses like insurance. Williams said that Kirkland Trails will have fundraisers in the future.
