Local high school fall sports teams continue to claim spots in the state polls.
Clinton girls soccer rose three spots from the previous week up to No. 3 in the Class B rankings. The Warriors had been No. 1, fell to No. 6 and then went back up by knocking off the new No. 1, Holland Patent. They finished the regular season 15-1-1.
Clinton boys soccer moved up to No. 4 in the Class B poll. The Warriors finished the regular season 15-1.
Waterville girls soccer move dup a spot to No. 9 in the Class C poll. The Indians finished the regular season without a loss with 13 wins and two ties.
With a couple of losses and a tie, Waterville boys fell out of the Class C poll.
Both Waterville and Clinton football teams received Honorable Mention in their respective polls.
Clinton girls cross country claimed the No. 7 spot and Waterville boys cross country remained at No. 10.
