The Clinton Warriors football team rebounded in a big way from their close loss to Little Falls in week two by rolling Notre Dame 45-6 last Friday night.
Clinton's attack was led by Tanner Deveans' five touchdowns and Aiden Walter's five sacks. Clinton improved to 2-1.
The Warriors took the opening kickoff and immediately got to work with a nine-yard run from Walter. A holding penalty on second down and an incomplete pass set up Deveans to complete a 20-yard throw to Brody Glindmyer.
A short rush from Deveans and an offsides on Notre Dame set up Walter for a first down run. Deveans rushed for the next two first downs before Walter powered in the first Clinton touchdown from the seven-yard line.
Deveans converted for two points on a QB keeper and Clinton struck quickly for a 8-0 lead.
