Against Herkimer, the Clinton boys varsity soccer team rolled to a 10-0 win after striking for seven first half goals.
Senior Captain Matt Lewis scored the first Clinton goal early in the game. Antonio Femia, Seamus Gale, Kass Gifford, and David Henderson then all scored goals early in the game. It was 5-0 halfway through the first half.
Clinton kept possession for most of the first half and didn't really press as hard to score as in the opening minutes. Gale scored two more goals quickly towards the end of the half to grab the seven-goal halftime lead.
