Personnel Moves Made In Kirkland

The Town of Kirkland Board met to discuss new business the evening of Aug. 28.

A number of changes regarding town employees were approved.

A letter of retirement from Mike Griffin was read by Town Supervisor Bob Meelan. Griffin reflected on his time working for the Town in many capacities and thanked the Board for their support.

A resolution to removing Patricia Maxam as the second person for the Town's NBT Bank accounts and add Kathryn Arcuri to the accounts was approved.

Maxam, administrative assistant to Meelan, as of Sept. 1 moved to her new position controlling the front-office operations for the Clinton Arena. She will work with Parks and Recreation Director Mike Orsino for four months until his retirement Dec. 31.

The board thanked Maxam for her dedication to her previous position and is looking forward to continuing to work with her in this new capacity.

Arcuri moved into Maxam’s role as administrative assistant. Jeaneen Suppe switched from her job at the Arena to replace Arcuri as clerk in the Supervisor’s office.
