People might soon be able to access a free food pantry similar to how Little Free Libraries work.
At last week’s Village of Waterville meeting, Nicole Arnold and Samantha Conde spoke about the idea, which they said they had seen elsewhere. The pantry - the size of a cabinet - would contain non-perishable food items. People take items as needed or leave food for others.
