Be Good, Get A Free Doughnut

Good civic duties are being rewarded in Clinton.

The Kirkland Police Department has partnered with Dunkin’ to reward citizens large and small for good actions and conduct, according to the department’s Facebook page. The reward is in the form of a coupon for a free donut at Dunkin’ on Utica Street in Clinton.

KPD Chief Daniel English said one thing the coupon does is “motivate the compliance rate” of kids wearing their helmets while on bicycles. “Young kids that are wearing their helmet should be rewarded,” English said.
