Waterville Rotary Club President Royce Rogers welcomed guests and members to the Annual Waterville Rotary Young Person of the Year Award dinner at Michael’s restaurant. Dave Wicks introduced Magnolia Schroer, the 2019 student honoree. Schroer just finished sixth grade at Memorial Park School. Principal Maureen Gray talked about the award selection by the sixth grade teachers, and Schroer’s academic accomplishments as well as her involvement in community service, sports, art and music. A certificate and a plaque were presented as Schroer’s parents and grandparents looked on.
