The Town of Kirkland Board met for their first regular meeting of May last Monday night.
A local resident met with the Board regarding her neighbor's free-running chickens destroying her property. Town Supervisor Bob Meelan apologized to the resident for their inconvenience, saying he thought the issue was resolved. The Board pledged to look into the issue.
