To address the lack of food options in communities along Route 20, a food cooperative could be established.
About 30 people attended the Waterville First meeting last week at the Waterville Historical Society. Guests were members from West Winfield, who are looking for a solution after losing their one grocery store this winter, and Dan Sullivan who helped establish the co-op in Richfield Springs that opened in October.
