Run Half A K For Health

“From where the sidewalk ends to where everything else begins.”

That’s the slogan for the Kirkland Town Library’s .5K Run and Walk.

Yes, that’s correctly - .5K. There’s no punctuation mistake. It’s half a kilometer.

The route for the .5K starts runners and walkers at the Clinton Cider Mill. From there, they travel up Elm Street to Murty Avenue. Then it’s on to Hamilton Place, where runners and walkers cross College Street and finish at the Kirkland Town Library.
