The Kirkland Town Board approved six transfers and amendments for next year’s budget at their meeting last week.
Town Supervisor Bob Meelan said LED lighting will be installed in the Clinton Arena after the first of the year.
“We saved an extra 10 percent by waiting until the new year for installation,” Meelan said. “This is also the first time in many years we’re in the plus column with sales tax by $30,499.”
