In this season dedicated to thankfulness and gratitude, the community is thanking a person many of us know well, Patty Louise. Not only is Patty a dedicated community member as publisher of The Waterville Times, but she also helped spearhead the activities and events for Clinton's Kraft Hockeyville celebration. And it was during the time of Hockeyville preparation that Patty found out she had breast cancer. This Saturday, Nov. 24, a spaghetti dinner and fundraiser will be held for Patty at the Clinton United Methodist Church on Utica St. In addition to the dinner, there will be basket raffles and silent auctions. Up for bids in the silent auction is a framed Kraft Hockeyville jersey signed by the Buffalo Sabres. The framed jersey also includes game tickets and a game puck. The jersey is featured as this week's Photo of the Week. Let's all show Patty how thankful we are for her this Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. All money raised from the dinner and fundraiser goes directly to the family to help with medical costs.
