The day after Thanksgiving is traditionally the start of the holiday shopping season.
But why battle traffic and long lines at big-box stores when you can shop locally?
The annual Shoppers’ Stroll and Holiday Parade in the Village of Clinton takes place Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 24.
“This event offers the community and visitors an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping mall and enjoy the traditions of the holiday season in a historic village setting,’’ said Jackie Walters, executive director of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce."
