Marshall Highway Department Busy

The Oct. 9 Marshall Town Board meeting began with accepting minutes of the regular meeting of Sept. 11, as well as special meetings Sept. 19, Sept. 23 and Oct. 2 concerning the 2019 budget.

In his report, Highway Superintendent Bob Welch stated that trash days Oct. 4, 5 and 6 were successful, with $830 realized in metal. He said the generator is installed in the Town Barn and running.

Sand was sold to other towns, which came to $73,740. Minus $2,000 for fuel oil. $11,000 for the machine, and $4,000 miscellaneous expenses, the Town of Marshall netted $55,740.
