On average, it takes Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corp 8-9 minutes to respond to a call in their southern zone.
That zone for the past two years has included the territory covered by the former Waterville Area Volunteer Ambulance Corp. WAVAC disbanded, as did the Oriskany Falls Ambulance Corp, and COCVAC absorbed that territory into its coverage area that includes Whitesboro and headquarters in Clark Mills.
