Community Celebration
On a perfect day to begin fall, about 4,000 people came to Clinton from all over the area and beyond to a party hosted by Kraft Heinz. From food to face painting to friends reminiscing, people packed the park for over four hours on Day 1 of the celebration.
Most organizations set up activities for the kids, which freed the adults up to talk and shop, especially at the NHL merchandise table. For four hours the buying line ran two and sometimes three deep.
Community Skate
Clinton residents had the opportunity to skate on newly lettered ice at the Clinton Arena on Sunday before Tuesday's big NHL game. Kids of all ages took part in the three-hour open skate time. Kraft and NHL mascots joined in.
The Stanley Cup
It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many Clinton residents who had a chance to see the Stanley Cup. The line for viewing the trophy stretched through the main aisle of the Clinton Arena. Local officials had an opportunity to take photos next to the Stanley Cup.
