A business in the Village of Hamilton has a connection to both Clinton and Waterville.
Maxwells Chocolates and Ice Cream on 14 Utica St. in Hamilton is under the new ownership of Jennifer Jury. Jury, who now resides in Waterville, grew up in Clinton.
The well-established sweets shop, which has been in business for over 15 years, was sold to Jury a few months ago.
Jury left Clinton decades ago for Vermont. Five years ago, Jury started a Vermont-based catering business with a focus on chocolate confections, including cake pops and chocolate-dipped fruit.
