CCS Fitness Center Clients Hear Ideas For Re-Opening

Clinton Central School Superintendent Dr. Stephen Grimm held an emergency meeting with the Clinton community Aug. 8 regarding the Clinton Fitness Center.

Between July 1, 2017 through June 30 this year, the Center lost $18,315.55. That loss, which comes out of the school district’s general budget, prompted Grimm to close the Center earlier this month to the community.

The meeting was a step to help search for a solution for the Center’s deficit. While classes are still happening, the weight and cardio room is closed to the public. It will still be available to students throughout the school year.
