Zach's Photo of the Week: Wild West

Harding Road in Clinton has hidden treasure. Well, actually, not so hidden; they're pretty big. On the Harding Farm property is a herd of American bison. According to Harding Farm's website, the bison have been at the farm since 2013 and are descendants from a Montana herd. I always wonder when I see the herd of bison in Clinton, "What's the difference between bison and buffalo?" According to Encyclopedia Brittanica's website, "[buffalo] are indigenous to South Asia (water buffalo) and Africa (Cape buffalo), while bison are found in North America and parts of Europe." This week's photo features a large bison - not a buffalo - from the Clinton farm.

The full story is in this week's edition of the newspaper.
