Run For The Fallen

Just over 15 runners took part in the New York Run for the Fallen through the Village of Clinton in June. The purpose of the three-day run is to honor New York’s military service members who have died during the War on Terror. The runners started in Syracuse and the over 140-mile run went through eight counties and ended in Albany. As runners turned the corner from Norton Avenue to Kirkland Avenue, they stopped for a ceremony at the Old Clinton Burying Ground. The Clinton Fire Department also flew a large American flag from the ladder of a truck.
