The North Brookfield Union School was built in 1882. In 1950 Raymond Barnes gifted more land behind the school, which made the field big enough for a baseball field.
Hence, our first Bush League team. We then called it North Brookfield Park.
In 1979 the old schoolhouse was torn down and in 1981 a new pavilion was erected by many community members. We have been playing Bush League games in this park non-stop for 68 years.
