Madison Central School’s 2018 Commencement saw 35 graduates receive their diplomas Friday, June 22, at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
A welcome was given by Board of Education President Steven Yancey, followed by Salutatorian Kristen Meadows singing a solo of “Vienna” (Billy Joel) in lieu of a speech.
The high school chorus then sang a pretty rendition of “Time of My Life” with the words “I’ve had the time of my life, and I owe it all to you” an appropriate chorus for parents, friends, families, and teachers who had an impact on and in the lives of these graduates.
