What are the best methods to plant the seeds of new successes, regardless if a person is guiding a new business or an established community library?
Ryan Miller from MVCC’s ThINCubator discussed possibilities for a prosperous and rewarding future, and offered some tips on reaching personal and business goals, at the Friends of the Kirkland Town Library’s annual meeting April 4.
“We are a startup that helps startups,” Miller explained.
The Utica-based ThINCubator is a community of creatives designed to inspire, motivate, and teach entrepreneurs to be successful in their own endeavors. He said ThINCubator has helped launch at least 15 separate companies over the last few years, with each of them now poised to write their own future stories.
Miller likened his duties to that of a business therapist, or even a Swiss Army knife with many accoutrements to help an entrepreneur. Miller counts among his own specialties social media and Internet applications, graphic design, Web development, communications bridge building, and the marketing of small businesses.
An obviously experienced communicator, he took what could have been a confusing subject and brought it down in easily-understood terms for all.
