Sauquoit Valley CSD Debuts New Logos

The Sauquoit Valley Central School District formally introduced its new mascot and logo – the Red Hawks, as well of the launch of its newly redesigned website.

Under development since spring 2023, the new visual identity represents the District’s 21st Century mission, vision and values.

Through multiple surveys, committee meetings and discussions, the District took a community approach to creating its new mascot and logo.

By the end of the process, hundreds of students, parents, staff and community members had shared their thoughts and ideas.

The resulting imagery maintains the District’s colors of red, white and black; while introducing the Red Hawk mascot.

Included in the new imagery are District and Athletics logos, and a family of typefaces –all intended to symbolize the intelligence, leadership, vision and power that Sauquoit Valley aims to instill in all of its students.

The District will take a phased approach to implementing the new visual framework throughout its facilities, grounds and extracurriculars.
