The Town of Kirkland Board met Wednesday evening to discuss new business.
The Board approved a resolution accepting the minutes from the May 9 meeting.
The Board approved a resolution adopting the 2022 Oneida County Hazard Mitigation Plan. The Board approved a resolution amending the budget to appropriate funds for the grant application for the Clinton Arena floor.
The Board approved a resolution amending the budget to reserve funds for a Zamboni.
Town of Kirkland Supervisor Bob Meelan said the Clark Mills Fire Department Field Days are scheduled for June 23-25. The Board approved a resolution allowing use of the roads for Field Days.
The town’s Fourth of July Parade has been canceled.
Meelan said the Town received a sales tax check of $488,858.
The Board approved a resolution authorizing the sale of two Town vehicles by auction. A Dodge Charger was approved to be sold for a minimum $10,000 and a Ford Explorer was approved to be sold at a minimum $16,000.
The Board approved a resolution authorizing the payment of bills.
Board member Garry Colarusso said the electric car charging station unit at the Arena will be installed for free because of the delay on the project.
The next Town of Kirkland Board meeting is scheduled for June 13 at 5 p.m.
