As Mount Markham Central School District administrators put together the 2022-23 budget, they have to factor in the jump in costs for supplies and equipment.
At the Board of Education’s first meeting in March, the Board reviewed the proposed budgets in several areas. Budget adoption comes next month with residents voting in May to adopt the budget and select Board members.
Up for review was the budget for Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES. HFHO BOCES Superintendent Sandra Sherwood gave the presentation.
Sherwood said Mount Markham is looking at an increase in BOCES costs of 10.36 percent.
