Mount Markham Central School District announced plans for celebrating the Class of 2022.
Mount Markham High School will hold its Annual Senior Academic Awards Night Wednesday, June 15, 7 p.m. in the High School auditorium. Award sponsors will present awards to seniors. Everyone is invited to attend this ceremony.
Baccalaureate will be Wednesday, June 22, 7 p.m. at the St. Joseph’s The Worker Parish on Main Street, West Winfield. A Church representative will meet with graduates Wednesday, June 8 at noon in the auditorium with information for this evening.
Seniors planning to attend Baccalaureate, which is sponsored by the area churches, are asked to sign up in the High School Guidance Office. Seniors will wear their caps and gown for this evening.
Victor Zampetti, High School Principal, announced the High School Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2022 will be Friday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mt. Markham Mustang Stadium. The event is planned to take place at the Mustang Stadium or in the High School gym if weather does not allow for outside.
A decision will be made by 5 p.m. that day if it becomes necessary due to the weather, regarding moving the ceremony into the gym.
Rehearsal for graduation will take place Wednesday, June 22 at 9 a.m. at the High School. Seniors must attend rehearsal if they plan to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Information regarding rehearsal and baccalaureate was mailed to parents the week of May 30.
