Local Budgets All Pass For 2026-27

School budgets across the region passed when voters when to the polls last week.

In the Mount Markham Central School District, the budget passed 204-55.

The budgets for the West Winfield and Bridgewater libraries passed 219-40.

The three people who each won a three-year seat on the Board of Education in the four- way race: Jennifer Maine, 197; Kathleen Entwistle, 191 and Amanda Noll, 157.

In the Richfield Springs Central School District, the budget passed 219-145.

The Bus Proposition passed 215-145.

The budget for the Richfield Springs Library was approved 252-113.

Larry Bohling was elected to the Board of Education with 178 votes.

Brookfield’s budget passed 84-45.

Valerie Nolan was elected to a five-year Board term with 100 votes and Isaac Hafelin was elected to the three-year term with 96 votes.
