Last month the Richfield Springs Lions Club held its 40th annual car show on Main Street’s Spring Park.
The event, which raises funds for the Lions Club’s local community service projects, featured a day of classic and contemporary cars, food, oldies music, and raffles. A total of 54 cars were entered in the show, with trophies awarded for the most popular rides in each category.
Some participants traveled from as far as Schenectady and Norwich to partake in the event, which drew a crowd of approximately 200 spectators throughout the day’s show.
“We want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the Lions Club today,” said event organizer Jim Geywitz.
The Lions Club is looking forward to next year’s car show on Aug. 7, 2022.
