Litchfield Town Supervisor Jim Entwistle opened the January Organizational Meeting at 7:30 p.m.
The thirty resolutions for 2022 were reviewed by Entwistle and Deputy Supervisor Jonathan Knauth. All resolutions were approved.
The regular board meeting immediately followed. Entwistle read the bank balances in both Certificates of Deposit and the money market and checking accounts.
Entwistle advised he talked with Jerry Stacchi from JGK Associates, Utica about writing a grant for the new salt shed. A meeting was scheduled for Jan. 19 to review the contract.
Stacchi has worked on five salt shed grants, with all five being approved, including one for the Town of Columbia.
Knauth and Councilman Terry McKane discussed a date for auditing the Town of Litchfield court books. A tentative date was set for Feb. 17.
