District’s Superintendent Starts This Week

The Mount. Markham Central School District Board of Education met Tuesday night to discuss new business.


The Board held a short celebration thanking Dave Langone for his work as Interim Superintendent and welcoming Lauren Chrisman before she begins as Superintendent this week.


Langone thanked the District for giving him the opportunity to work with Mt. Markham over the last several months. Langone also thanked the Herkimer County Sheriff's Department for their work with the District.


The Board approved a resolution approving the Aug. 12 meeting minutes.


The Board approved a resolution accepting the resignation of Teacher Assistant Danielle Loomis.


The Board approved a resolution accepting the resignation of Teacher Jessica Wrap.


The Board approved a resolution accepting the resignation of Teacher Linda Bond.


The Board approved a resolution approving Jennifer Moshier for additional tenure in ELA.


The Board approved a resolution approving the 2025- 26 substitute list.


The Board approved a resolution appointing Colin Clark as long-term substitute Counselor.


The Board approved a resolution appointing John Huther as Elementary Education Teacher.


The Board approved a resolution appointing Megan Birmingham as an Aide.


The Board approved a resolution appointing Jillianne Maine, London Sirko, Katie Assisi, Grace Assisi, Natalie Griffiths, and Abigail Schoonover as the Ex-Officio Student Boardmembers.


The Board approved a resolution approving the list of Confidential Employee Agreements.


The Board approved a resolution appointing Jason Sanchez, Sean Carone, Phil Keida, Karen Rowe, and Victor Zampetti as the lead evaluators for Teachers.
