Dr. Rebecca Pelkey reads a poem she wrote for the Headstone Dedication Saturday of Esther Pouquenup and Prude Cujep Harry, both who died in the 1820s and received new headstones in the Deansboro Cemetery through the Calumet and Cross Heritage Society. The Society’s mission is to preserve the heritage of the Brothertown Indians. A reception followed the dedication.
