Christmas is just around the corner and the West Winfield Rotary Club and the entire community are preparing for the annual Christmas Basket Program.
Due the generosity and support from individuals, organizations and businesses in our community, this program has always been a great success and source of pride for the Mount Markham community.
The pandemic continues to put strains on our economy, impacting the financial resources of local charities and organizations more than in years past.
We know that our needs this year will be as big as ever. The list of families in need is certain to be like last year and for many families, the food and gifts that the Community Christmas Food Basket Program provides are the only Christmas celebration they will enjoy.
Whether you would like to help through the purchase of a gift for a deserving child or adult, or give a monetary donation, your assistance is needed again this year.
Please look at the blessings in your own life and consider your friends and neighbors in our community who are not as fortunate. Your contribution given in the spirit of love and concern for those in need will be greatly appreciated.
