Rise Performing Arts officially opened on Taylor Avenue in Clinton Saturday with an Open House and Ribbon Cutting. Owner Tara O’Bryan has run a dance studio for 22 years, including previously in Clinton. Lessons are available for children 18 months old up to adults. O’Bryan has put in place social distancing and facemask requirements for dancers and parents who want to watch a practice. She has also leased space to the Utica Children’s Theatre, which is working on a musical. Clinton Mayor Steve Bellona and Clinton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jackie Walters help with the ribbon cutting. This was the first Chamber event since the early March annual Chamber breakfast.
