Clinton Teachers Donate To Pantry

March 31, 2020

The Clinton Board of Education held their regular meeting in irregular circumstances, conferencing through Zoom Tuesday evening.

If any more meetings should need to take place under quarantine, a link is available on the district website.

The meeting began with a Bright Spot for the Clinton Teachers Association. CTA President John King gave a $1,200 donation to Mary Zimbler, director for The Country Pantry food bank. King thanked the Board for their support.

Superintendent Dr. Stephen Grimm said the district is operating as normally as possible given the situation with the coronavirus. Middle School faculty held an online meeting with 42 people.

School lunches are still being served with pickup at the High School and Country Pantry/Church of the Annunciation parking lots. Grimm said by the end of last week 1,500 meals had been provided.

Board Vice President Erica Shaw thanked everyone who volunteered to make sure kids still ate on time.

Educational materials organized by High School Principal Dr. Matt Lee and his staff were distributed to students last week.
