Warriors Rush Past W-O

October 22, 2019

Clinton varsity football finished their regular season with a 19-6 home win over Westmoreland-Oriskany  Saturday. Clinton pushed their record to 5-2 and remained undefeated at home going into their Sectional game against Herkimer Saturday at noon.

Deveans took the next step and scored to give Clinton a 6-0 lead. W-O took the ball for their next possession and was forced to punt after picking up a first down.

Clinton got the ball back and were facing second and 18 after a holding penalty. A fumble on the next play was recovered by W-O in good field position and they scored soon after to tie the game at 6 with a few minutes to play in the first half.
