Members of the Kirkland Trails group, along with Hamilton College President David Wippman, Kirkland Town Councilman Garry Colarusso and Kirkland Highway Superintendent Jon Scott gathered last week to signal the start of the extension of the multi-use trail from Deansboro. This portion on Dugway Road will link with the Deansboro end; eventually the trail will continue north towards Clinton. Joining in the start were Kirkland Trails members President Sharon Williams, board member Jim Bramley, Treasurer Chris Cely and Vice President Chip Bassett.
