Sophomore goalkeeper Rachael Scoones (Waterville) was named the North Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week following a pair of gritty efforts versus Lycoming and NAC foe SUNY Canton.
SUNY Delhi split its games last week to stand at 5-3-1 on the season and 2-1 in conference play.
Scoones posted a career-high 20 saves against a high-shooting Lycoming squad in a 4-1 defeat.
She kept up the intensity in a shutout performance in Delhi's 3-0 win over Canton, logging six saves.
One day after earning NAC Defensive weekly honors, Scoones was recognized by the USCAA as its Division I Goalie of the Week.
