•Brookfield varsity softball registered a rare perfect game (15-0), keeping every Otselic Valley batter off base in the league win. Pitcher Kayla Owen took control, striking out 10 of the 15 batters who came to the plate in the five-inning game. The other five outs came from groundouts and flyouts.

•In an exciting golf match last week, Waterville edged Clinton 190-195 to win their fourth match of the year.

•The varsity baseball game between Waterville and Brookfield was won by the Beavers 11-1 Saturday.

•It was a tough week at home for the Clinton girls varsity lacrosse team. The Warriors went 0-2 at home but did win on the road at VVS. 

•Although the Warriors fell short in the softball game giving them a 15-8 loss, their bats came alive in the last two innings to make it a game.

•The 10 teams in the Tri-County Little League organization celebrated the start of the league’s 68th season with a parade and exhibition games at Brookfield Town Park Saturday. 

•The Waterville Indians beat Morrisville-Eaton 13-2, taking advantage of six errors by the home softball team.

•Madison softball - The Blue Devils scored 35 times in a shutout of Otselic Valley. Kayla Usborne drove in six runs on five hits. Sarah Mclain had 5 RBI. Madison also beat Fabius-Pompey last week, 9-6, with Kierston Abrams getting two hits and Jaiden Baker the win, despite the Blue Devils striking out 12 times.

•Clinton baseball - After nine innings, Clinton and Canastota suspended their game due to darkness tied at 7-all. 

•Clinton boys lacrosse - The Warriors took the long road trip to Thousand Islands Saturday night and made it worthwhile with a 14-9 win.

•Waterville track - In a meet with Westmoreland and Cooperstown, the girls varsity track team had all high jumpers set personal bests.
