Brookfield Central School District’s 2019-20 budget will not require a 60 percent approval by voters next month.
At a special meeting last week, BCS Superintendent Jim Plows reviewed the $6.35 million spending plan after first going over where the district’s spending looks as this year comes to an end in June. “We’re going to be about $25,000 short,’’ he said. “That’s not bad at all and puts us in a better position than in previous years.’’
