Zach's Photo of the Week: Seasons Collide

Central New York saw its first significant snowfall a few weeks ago, and, at least for me, the reality of winter is setting in. Take the shovel out of the shed. Find the car snow brush. Have sidewalk salt on hand. Dig out winter apparel from the bottom of the closet. The joys of the winter season. As you can probably tell, I am no fan of winter. However, I live in a snowy place, and I eventually get used to it. I always try to make the best out of winter, and that's why I take photos of winter scenery. In the photo, the trees still have bright orange leaves and a dusting of snow covering the ground. It reminds me of going into a store and seeing Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations at the same time.
