It was an amazing couple of days for the Town of Kirkland. Not only did Kraft Hockeyville put on a wonderful celebration in the village for residents, we were also treated to an NHL game. It was standing room only in many sections of the Clinton Arena when the Buffalo Sabres and Columbus Blue Jackets came to town. The amount of hometown pride many were feeling was obvious. Kids and adults were wearing as much Clinton hockey apparel as possible. This week's Photo of the Week ties in perfectly with that. I was able to capture a photo of an old Comets hockey jersey with the Hockeyville logo under it. To me, it represented the 100 years of hockey the area just celebrated, and what great hockey events are yet to come.
