Kirkland Hears Energy Proposal

The Town of Kirkland Board heard a presentation from the Clean Energy Communication Group at its meeting last week.

The group asked the town to consider initiatives to produce sustainable and clean energy. CECG explained the initiatives designate the town for access to specific grant funding options related to clean energy programs.

Town Supervisor Bob Meelan was given authorization to make final decisions regarding the Hockeyville Local Organizing Committee and a grant proposal studying what improvements can be done at the Clinton Arena.
