The nearly 80-degree day on Saturday made for an extra enjoyable Clinton Art and Music Festival. The Village Green was packed with vendors, musicians and festival-goers. Artists with unique items like antique button jewelry and crocheted bathing suit tops had booths set up on the Green. Artisans selling paintings, drawings, photography, hand-lettered signs and much more had a busy day as hundreds of people visited the festival. Those who attended the 13th annual event heard music at various locations around the Village, including the Village Green gazebo. Kids had the opportunity to paint pottery and bookends supplied by Clinton Pottery and the Kirkland Town Library, respectively. Food vendors were also there supplying hungry festival-goers with various types of cuisine. Festival organizers calculate that thousands of people visit the festival every year. The Clinton Art and Music Festival is a Clinton Chamber of Commerce event.
