In 2007 the community of North Bay, Ontario rallied the small communities around it to win the Kraft Hockeyville Canada title.
In doing so, the North Bay Memorial GardensSports Arena in the town about 3.5 hours north of Toronto found itself back in hockey glory. Built in 1955, the Arena used its Kraft grant toward an electronic message board outside the arena and to make rink repairs that ultimately ended up providing $16 million of improvements to the facility.
