The July Marshall Town Board meeting opened with a public hearing on the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant that ends this year.
The town was awarded $405,000 in 2016 to use by December. The grant allows for a town-wide housing rehabilitation program for those homeowners who meet the income criteria.
In addition, the house must be determined to be in substandard condition, using the Town of Marshall's definition of substandard.
