Pretty Kitties

July 18, 2018

Around 85 people took part in the CPV Rescue and Sanctuary fundraiser this spring. Nearly $2,500 was raised to help with daily operations of the shelter, like rent, cat food and medical expenses. The event kicked off National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day. Alice, a playful and energetic kitten, showed off her neck scarf and nails at the fundraiser. Volunteer Kelly Motyl and her daughter Carly play with Theo, an 11-year-old cat that has been with the vet for two years. Motyl said she has always loved animals, and because she already has three cats and two dogs, volunteering at the shelter helps scratch her "I-want-more-kitties itch."
