Tonja Bleichert of Clark Mills, holding son Slade, 3, was the first winner of the $10 from the Times promotion at the Clinton Farmers Market, which opened last Thursday. The Times will seek out one person each week who is wearing maroon or something with hockey on it to recognize the title of Hockeyville that Clinton won this year. That person will get $10 to spend in the market. Bleichert, at the market for her first-ever visit with mom Londa Burton and sister Shonda Bleichert and her son Bryson, planned to use it for fruit and vegetables, especially the carrots and watermelon Slade said he likes.
