Hamilton College offered a new class this semester on Law and Justice.

Professor of Law Frank Anechiarico said the interest was three to four times beyond the allowed enrollment. After Anechiarico expanded the role of the class, students will now be part of a two-county, six-college partnership for Racial Justice Reform.

Former Clinton Trustee Carrie Evans was re-elected to the Village Board last week.

Evans, who resigned from the board in late June, was one of three candidates running for the two seats in the village. Trustee Thomas Firsching won another term with 53 votes, while Evans had 43. Richard Heintz II had 22 votes.

In spring, when Covid-19 guidelines were starting to be enforced, I didn't take as many photos as usual. I didn't leave my house much.  As a way to continue taking photos, I would snap photos through the windows. I was staying at home, and I was socially distancing. Although it's summer and more places are opening again, I'm still staying at home more. So, I continue to take wildlife photos from my window from time to time. This photo was taken from my window on Tuesday, Aug. 4 during heavy rainstorms.
